Who we are
Artsy Conveyance was founded by Andrea Hidalgo Martí, a fine art logistics specialist and consultant with over fifteen years of experience across Venezuela, Panama and the United States. We are the partner of choice for collectors, galleries, curators and artists who need the work handled with the same care and intelligence it was made with.
We are not a moving company. We are the people you call when the work matters.

The background
Andrea's career began at Articruz, the production studio of Carlos Cruz-Diez, one of the most important kinetic artists of the twentieth century and a central figure in Venezuelan and Latin American art history. For six years she served as project manager, leading the production and logistics of Cruz-Diez's projects with some of the most respected institutions in the world, among them the SCAD Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and The Broad, gaining firsthand experience in the precision and coordination that work of this scale demands.
She then moved to the commercial side of the art world at Marion Art Gallery, spending two years as a business developer: negotiating art sales totaling millions of dollars, curating exhibitions, and deepening her understanding of the forces that shape how art moves, how it is valued, and who collects it.
For three years she worked closely with Rafael Barrios, a sculptor known for large-scale geometric work, overseeing installations, managing the administrative operations of his studio, curating exhibitions, and representing him in professional contexts.
In 2021 she founded Artsy Conveyance, bringing that full range of knowledge to clients who need more than a shipper. Since then she has overseen the relocation of multi-million dollar collections, executed monumental installations, and delivered full-scope services at international art fairs.
